Lebanon-based "Azdak" newspaper celebrates its 85th anniversary today.

Lebanon-based "Azdak" newspaper is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Initially it was eight-page-newspaper; currently the newspaper comprises 10 pages; since 2002 website has been launched.

Kiro Manoyan, Responsible of the Office of Armenian National Committee of America told a press conference on the framework of the 85 th anniversary of the newspaper, presented the history and the road of the newspaper.

The newspaper was founded on the private basis; whereas from the very first day ( 1927 March 5), it was under the responsibility of the ARF.

‘’ ‘’Azdak’’ covers the issues of the entire Armenian community of Lebanon’’ introduced the Manoyan.

Tatul Hakobyan ‘’Azdak’’ ‘s Yerevan Office worker noted that though the newspaper belongs to the party, the issues are not partial, and cover the activities of different parties.
