President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) today refused to answer election-related issues.
"You can address all your questions during a discussion to be organized on election results," said Ruben Hayrapetyan.

He got more infuriated when asked to elaborate on his activity in the newly formed National Assembly. "I have already told you that I am not going to answer any election-related issue."

Samvel Alexanyan, a candidate of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) running at Constituency No 7, is celebrating his victory in his Parvana restaurant tonight. Asked whether he would participate in the banquet organized by Alexanyan, Mr. Hayrapetyan said, "Surely I shall go. He [Samvel Alexanyan] is a friend of mine."

Alexanyan has also invited his challenger at the constituency, Nikol Pashinyan, to participate in the event, but the latter rejected the invitation. Asked what might happen if Pashinyan accepted the invitation, Ruben Hayrapetyan said, "I do not know that man."

When reminded that Pashinyan was the same person who had invited him to a TV debate, the FFA President said, "That loquacious guy! Let him come and we shall lecture him!"
