Trees being uprooted in downtown Yerevan - 106/1 Nalbandyan address.

Residents of 106/1 Nalbandyan in Yerevan, who have been fighting against an illegal construction of a luxury residential building in their backyard, today came to blows with the representatives of a construction company developing the site.

This came after the employees of Avag Shin LLC showed up in the site with construction equipment and machinery and began uprooting trees in the territory of a former kindergarten.
The angered residents, who have been protesting against the construction of the multi-storey residential building for the past two years, blocked their way. They confronted the workers and demanded that they halt the controversial construction. However, they were forced off the area and bulldozers entered the site to cut down the trees.

The doors are closed, with Avag Shin representatives working on the site.
