HHK, OEK sign new coalition memorandum.

The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) that garnered most of the votes during the May 6 parliamentary elections, and the Rule of Law Party (OEK) which took 5 percent of votes, have signed a new coalition memorandum.
"Based on the results of the May 6 vote and highlighting importance to continue the political cooperation signed in March 21, 2008, directing our efforts to solving the problems in the state through innovative approaches, ensuring Armenia's steady and progressive development and reinforcing solidarity, the undersigned political parties represented in the RA parliament sign an agreement on forming a political coalition. It will take the responsibility for Armenia's political, economic and social development," the memorandum reads.
The coalition forces are entitled to pursue a common policy in close cooperation with each other in order to deepen democratic reforms in the country and to effectively implement their pre-election programs.
They also voice support for Serzh Sargsyan in the 2013 presidential election.
The document was signed by Serzh Sargsyan in the name of the HHK and Artur Baghdasaryan in the name of the OEK.
