Armenia’s Parliament speaker and deputy speakers were appointed.

The Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) just ended its session and President of Armenia and RPA leader Serzh Sargsyan offered the candidacy of Hovik Abrahamyan as Parliament Speaker, RPA Spokesperson Edward Sharmazanov told the journalists adding the offer passed unanimously.

According to another offer by Sargsyan, Deputy Speakers will be RPA MPs Hermine Naghdalyan and Edward Sharmazanov, Naghdalyan will replace Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member Samvel Balasanyan.

Sharmazanov said that Samvel Nikoyan will work in another field but it is not yet clear what office he would have.
