Armenian government resigns.

Following the demand of the Constitution, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today presented Serzh Sargsyan with the government's appeal for resignation.

According to Article 55 (4) of the RA Constitution, the President of the Republic of Armenia accepts the Government's resignation on the day of the first session of the newly elected National Assembly.

In the beginning of today's NA session, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan also mentioned that the members of the incumbent government would continue to be in office until the National Assembly forms the new Government.

On behalf of the ministers representing the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan expressed gratitude for the joint efforts made in the past five years and wished the future government officials success.
