“Zhoghovurd” daily. Armenia Should Go either for Euro Integration or RF created EurAsEC

The ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of German to Armenia, Hans-Jochen Schmidt, during an interview with “Regnum” news agency stated that Armenia should orientate either towards euro integration or RF created Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC). He believes these two are incompatible. It is peculiar that the German Ambassador makes such kind of statements three days before the visit of the US State Secretary, Hilary Clinton to Armenia and a day before the departure of the RF President Vladimir Putin to Germany.
According to diplomatic sources of “Zhoghovurd” daily, Mrs. Clinton is going to raise this issue during the meeting with RA Government representatives and Serzh Sargsyan in particular.
