Raffi Hovhannisyan Reelected Heritage Party Chair

8th congress of the Heritage party was convened today with the participation of 150 delegates.

Raffi Hovhannisyan referred to the inner challenges and priorities of foreign policy of Armenia.

He called for consolidation of civil society, political powers and academia to get read of everlasting falsifications, de facto elections and establish the first de jure legal presidency since 1991.

During the congress the following board members were elected: Raffi Hovhannisyan, Anahit Bakhshyan, Styopa Safaryan, Armen Martirosyan, Hovsep Khurshudyan, Gagik Margaryan, Susanna Muradyan, Lusine Poghosyan and Margarita Hakobyan.
Raffi Hovhannisyan was elected as party chair, Armen Martirosyan –deputy chair in charge of public policy and Styopa Safaryan in charge of international relations.

Ruben Hakobyan was elected as head of Heritage party faction in NA and Zaruhi Postanjyan as Secretary. The decision about Raffi Hovhannisyan’s participation will be made before the launch of NA session in September.
