10 Youth Initiatives Receive Grants

Today, due to “Open Society Foundations-Armenia”, presentation of programs of 20 youth initiatives, who received grants took place in American University of Armenia. At the beginning of the year the foundation sponsored 20 youth initiatives related to environment protection, public and education spheres. Young people who received grants were mainly from regions: Vedi, Yeghegnadzor, Alaverdi, Vayq, Armavir, Jermuk etc.

According to the deputy head of foundation Davit Amiryan, the goal of the foundation is to motivate young people, to conduce positive changes in public life. Program coordinator Larisa Grigoryan informed that besides carried out projects, 10 new youth initiatives were presented. The foundation is planning to organize a new call for grants to support realization of new youth initiatives.
