Armenian People Remember Japan’s Support and Warm Attitude. Serzh Sargsyan

RA President pays an official visit to Japan today.
In Senday city, Japan, RA President visited “Yuriague-Hiyoriyama” monument, paid a tribute to the victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan in 2011.
On his behalf and on behalf of the delegation the President welcomed the population of Senday and conveyed the sympathy and respect of Armenian people. Serzh Sargsyan emphasized that the news about the disaster in Japan shocked the whole country and everybody was closely following what was going on in Japan and praying for the Japanese people.
He mentioned that the Armenian people are greatful for the aid and warm attitude of Japan, when Armenia was going through tough times trying to overcome the consequences of the devastating earthquake in 1988. The President expressed confidence that the Japanese people would be able to overcome this crisis and eliminate all the consequences of the disaster.
President Serzh Sargsyan departed for Tokyo from Senday. Starting from June 6, the President will have meetings with high-ranking officials of Japan in Tokyo.
