Yesterday Azeris Fired at Red Cross Representatives
Armenia
Yesterday at about 5:30 p.m. the Azerbaijani forces opened fire at a Red Cross vehicle and associates, who went there to visit with a farmer, who was injured on June 1 in his garden. This was said by a YSU professor, resident of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur village Ruben Abrahamyan and with sorrow mentioned that the media rarely adverts to the issues of borderline communities of Tavoush.
He mentioned that there are numerous problems in borderline communities. The farmers are afraid to cultivate the lands because there are incessant firings in their direction. And the lands that are little far from the border are being taxed, thus creating additional financial issues for villagers.
Abrahamyan mentioned that in the village there are only people, who won’t ever abandon their homes. The factories left from the soviet era have either been ruined as a result of the war or don’t operate because of tax issues.
