“Zhoghovurd” Daily: Davit Harutyunyan Afraid that ANC Will Widely Use its Opportunities at PACE

According to reliable sources, the head of Armenian delegation to PACE Davit Harutyunyan does his best to keep the delegation staff invariable, moreover not let the ANC representatives be included in the main staff at least, for the ANC members are incontrollable for them. They are afraid that in the context of presidential elections ANC will widely use its opportunities at PACE. In this view Davit Harutyunyan has tried to talk to Hovik Abrahamyan claiming that only the opposition representatives Armen Rustamyan from ARF and Zaruhi Postanjyan from Heritage should be included in the delegation. In a conversation with “Zhoghovurd” daily, Davit Harutyunyan noted that he cannot comment on this information, since it is the NA Chairman who is in charge of appointing staff members of the delegation.
