We Will Be On The Front Line In Any War. Raffi Hovhannisyan

Today, on June 7, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan issued a statement. Below is his complete statement.

“Our soldiers fell victim once again. First of all we are to blame for it. We express our condolences to the families of fallen soldiers and to our whole nation.

The Armenian people doesn’t have the right to give even a single martyred, no matter if it is for the defense of the country or while serving in the army in peace.

“Never again” is not a mere slogan. It should have its practical implementation in our state life.

We must answer before the families of the fallen soldiers, but first of all the incumbent president, minister and commander.
Unfortunately, the majority of our military servants have recently voted for the law of the country by many violations.

Shame on us.

The enemy should receive a response not by perishing its poor soldiers, but by the whole ruling government. They must respect our sovereignty and territorial integrity, including Armenia and Artsakh.

To achieve this our state and its government must become legitimate, honest, decent, they must respect people’s freedom and choice, and which is more important they must be accountable for the life of every citizen and soldier.

The guilty are nowhere, but among us.

Heritage Party urges the whole country and nation to consolidate to be able to give the enemy a decent response. Nobody and never again!

In any war, no matter how undesirable it is, we will be on the front line.”
