More Than 14 Thousand People Dead in Anti-Government Protests in Syria

At least 14.115 people have died as result of anti-government protests in Syria, since March 2011.
As the representatives of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, out of total number of diseased, 9.862 were peaceful residents, 3.470 military servants and 783 deserters of Syrian army.
According to the information disseminated by the Syrian opposition, at least 35 people died because of the artillery bombing of the government army in Homs city.
According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights more than 80 peaceful residents were perished during the last few days. At least 20 people died because of artillery bombing of Derasa city in South of Syria. There are women and children among the victims.
It has been more than a year now that anti-government protests are going on. Every day dozens of peaceful resident fall victim to these protests. According to the UNO, in Syria the number of victims exceeds 12 thousand.
