The Karabakh conflict does not contribute to regional security. Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadaze stated this. According to her, the balance of security in the region is quite fragile and the international community is aware of that.
“I am completely confident that all the conflicting parties realize how complicated the problem is and what will be consequences for the region. That is the reason why I’m sure that both states will be adequate in their assessment of the situation and will take all necessary measures to ensure security,” she stated, NewsGeorgia.ru.
In her words in today's security fragile situation there are threats for regional security in direction of which everybody must be vigilant. "I am sure that the sides of the conflict are vigilant" said Kalandadze and mentioned that Georgia develops intensive ties both with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
