Statements of Heads of Armenian Diplomatic Missions in New York and Vienna

Heads of Armenian diplomatic missions in New York and Vienna informed UN and OSCE member states about Azerbaijani encroachments and diversion activities in Armenian-Azerbaijani border and Azerbaijani-Karabakh contact line.
The ambassadors mentioned in their statements: "Last December Azerbaijan rejected the suggestion of personal representative of OSCE chairman-in-office on increase of the budget during the discussions of United Budget for 2012 by the OSCE Standing Council, which could be a practical step in realization of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents' agreement in Sochi in March, 2012 to create a mechanism for investigation of cases cease-fire regime violations on the contact line. In its statement Armenian side emphasized that by rejecting the implementation of investigation mechanism Azerbaijan takes the responsibility for violations of cease-fire regime and victims.
Unfortunately Azerbaijani side keeps on rejecting the implementation of confidence-building measures, particularly rejecting the suggestions of OSCE and Minsk group Co-Chairs to strengthen the cease-fire regime, retreat the snipers as well as the above mentioned investigation mechanism."
In the statement also reads "During a press conference on June 4 with Hillary Clinton RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian condemned Azerbaijani provocations and stated that the growing tension creates significant obstacles in negotiation process and is hazardous for regional security. Responsibility for all possible results stemming from these actions must take the Azerbaijani side".
