“Yerkir”: All RPA Governors will Continue Holding Offices

According to Yerkir, the intention of the government to replace several governors has changed.

The sources of the newspaper claim that all the RPA governors will continue holding their offices. After thinking long on this matter and listening to recommendations, the President of Armenia has decided to step into the presidential elections with the incumbent governors.

Now the RPA governors can easily breathe but they also understand that the presidential elections may also be fatal for them. The Republican governors, who failed the parliamentary elections, are given a second shot, which they can’t miss this time.

The names of governors to replace the former PAP governors are also known. According to the newspaper sources, a member of the RPA faction Rafik Grigoryan will be appointed governor of Gegharkunik and the governor of Vayots Dzor will be appointed the current mayor of Vayk, an RPA member Harutyun Sargsyan.
