RA NA Chair Received Kuwait Ambassador

NA Chair Hovik Abrahamyan received Kuwait Ambassador to Armenia Basam Muhammad al-Qabandi on June 13.

Welcoming the Ambassador NA Chair mentioned that Armenia attaches much importance to the development of relations with Arab countrieս. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between Armenia and Kuwait in various spheres, activation of relations between the Parliament of the two countries. NA Chair stated that in the newly elected Parliament Armenia-Kuwait Parliamentary Friendship Group was formed headed by Arayik Hovhannisyan.

The Ambassador extended greetings and congratulations of Kuwait Parliament Chairman Ahmed al-Saadun to Hovik Abrahamyan in regard of his reappointment in his post. Basam Muhammad al-Qabandi emphasized that his country attaches much importance to development of cooperation with Armenia in various spheres and stated that his mission will be to contribute most effectively to the development and strengthening of Armenian-Kuwaiti relations.

During the meeting various other issues related to development of relations between Armenia and Kuwait.
