European Championship 2014 to be held in Yerevan

European Chess Union (ECU) by the suggestion of Armenian Chess Federation made a decision to hold the European Individual Chess Championship 2014 in Yerevan, Armenia.

The tournament is planned to dedicate to the memory of 9th World Champion Tigran Petrosian on his 85th anniversary, in 2014.
