To What Extent will Coverage of NA Elections Affect Presidential Elections?

When interviewed by Lragir.com the President of the Journalists for the Future NGO Suren Deheryan responded the following to the question as to what extent the NGO’s monitoring results of the coverage of the May 6 elections can affect the upcoming presidential elections:

“As a result of our monitoring we have noticed that this process on the NA elections is at a preparatory stage for both media outlets and political parties. All of them have been testing their strengths as to how actively they can participate, what the size of the audience is. As of the parties, the latter have been trying to understand the size of their electorate.

If we speak of concrete media sources then it turns out that they were trying to test their strengths and this was some kind of trial period for them to understand what resources should be used to be more presentable during the presidential elections,” mentioned Deheryan.
