Four Japanese Mountaineers Reportedly Died in Alaska
World
According to preliminary reports, four Japanese mountaineers died as a result of snow drift, who attempted to climb McKinley Peak of Alaska. This is reported by the Associated Press.
Five men participated in a hike that started on Thursday. One of them was lucky to survive as he was ready to hide in the ice crack by miracle and after some time made it out.
As of now, rescue teams are searching the bodies of the rest of the mountaineers, who are considered dead by the rescue service. Snow blizzard impedes the search measure.
According to AP, the assumed dead mountaineers ranged from 50-64 years old. The only survived man is 69.
