Murder in Gyumri

On June 16, at 9:30 p.m. Gyumri police station received a call from ambulance unit, Roza Khachatryan, born in 1935, a female resident of house 123/050 on Lalayan street was moved to hospital with injuries on waste and chest. As a result of injuries she passed away in the hospital.

Due to the operative measures of the police, on June 17 at 5:10 a.m. it was unveiled that on June 16 at 9:00 p.m., a 20-year old man, named Harutyun H. stabbed the old woman with a knife.

Harutyun was detained and is under arrest.

The investigation based on article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code is underway.
