Did Syunik Regional Governor Sell the Mine?

Syunik regional governor Suren Khachatryan alluding to the rumors according to which he sold Geghvadzor mine belonging to him, said in an interview with Lurer.com. “Nothing was sold.”

According to media publications Syunik regional governor Surik Khachatryan is not able to pay the salaries of his employees and is going to refuse the mine exploitation.

The regional governor wanted to sell it to the general director of Zangezur Copper Plant Maxim Hakobyan. According to reliable information, Khachatryan and Hakobyan had a meeting yesterday and concluded an official contract under which Maxim Hakobyan will exploit the mine
