3D Art in Aznavur Square

The Department of Information and Public Relations informs that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan participated in the presentation of the 3D picture in Charles Aznavour square fulfilled within the framework of the “Wish Wall” project held on June 1-20 as a result of the cooperation between the Municipality of Yerevan and "Ameriabank". Taking into account the number of requests on the "Wish Walls" regarding decorating Yerevan with 3D pictures the organizers initiated decoration of the pavement in Charles Aznavour square with a 3D picture. With this view Nikolai Arndt from Germany was invited to Yerevan through "BB Media" advertising agency the well-known 3D painter. This work of the painter is his biggest one in the world. Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that this initiative is another example of efficient cooperation of the Municipality with the private structures and such cooperation will be continuous.

"Initiating the “Wish Wall” action with our partner we intended to get information on the attitudes of the residents as well as the guests of Yerevan regarding development and decoration of Yerevan. In the near future all the wishes will be summarized and a special project will be worked out presenting the common dream to realize ", said Taron Margaryan adding that taking into consideration the enthusiasm of the residents this 3D picture will not be the only one in Yerevan. The work lasted for 5 days under the cover with water-resistant and thermo-resistant paints. To see the image in 3D is possible only from the marked spot. People will be able to take photos on the background of the picture for a few months.

"The city is changing for better day by day. And the Mayor of Yerevan has his personal contribution. This is another stimulus for us to go on cooperating with the Municipality of Yerevan and to try to realize new projects and ideas which will promote more beautiful outward decoration of Yerevan", said the general manager of "Ameriabank" Artak Hanesyan.

It is significant that more than 4000 different wishes and dreams found their place on "Wish Walls" and on Facebook pages and 800 out of which had to do with 3D street art.
