PAP Using Artur Baghdasaryan’s Syndrome: Petros Makeyan
Armenia
“I think you should address this question to the spokesman of Levon Ter-Petrosyan. How would I know?” this is how the Chair of Democratic Fatherland party Petros Makeyan reacted to Lurer.com’s question as to why the leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan mostly focused on Prosperous Armenia in his speech instead of speaking of the upcoming activities of the ANC. “I don’t have an answer to this question,” he said.
To the question whether the opposition will endorse a joint candidate during the presidential race and as to who the ANC candidate will be, Makeyan replied in his opinion the best option for the opposition would be to endorse a joint candidate.
“And I am sure that the process which Ter-Petrosyan started in 2008 should be ended by him personally,” said Makeyan without ruling out the nomination of a PAP member Vardan Oskanian in the upcoming elections.
“I cannot rule out anything in politics,” he noted.
As of the PAP behavior, Makeyan said that the PAP maintains and continues the political course which they said they would adopt from October of the last year. Reminder: During one of the press conferences Makeyan said, “PAP is using Artur Baghdasaryan’s syndrome.”
