I Don’t See any Charismatic Candidate in ANC Right Now. Armen Martirosyan

I don’t think Levon Ter-Petrosyan will be nominated at the presidential elections. I don’t see any charismatic candidate in the Armenian National Congress right now, who will not only be able to consolidate, but will be accepted by ANC. This was stated by deputy head of Heritage party Administration Board Armen Martirosyan.

“I believe that this candidate is Raffi Hovhannisyan. ARF hasn’t submitted any similar application and taking into account that essential discussions are anticipated in ARF, they will be in support of a specific candidate.” mentioned Martirosyan.

As for Prosperous Armenia, the speaker is of the opinion, that it is difficult to predict what steps PAP will undertake. Martirosyan didn’t exclude that Vardan Oskanyan, PAP member and former MFA will be nominated at the presidential elections. Former NA deputy doesn’t consider it possible that Robert Kocharyan will be publicly participating in the elections as a candidate.
