“Armenia is ready to accept Armenians living in Syria,” stated orientalist Suren Manukyan.

In this crisis the official support of various countries including Armenia is extremely important, which hasn’t been exercised by our leadership so far.

To the question of Lurer.com whether there are people who come back to Armenia from Syria as a result of the crisis, the orientalist replied that the Armenians living in Syria don’t return to Armenia but try to settle in Lebanon.

Armenians living in Syria try to acquire Armenian passports, since Syrian passports are not accepted in Western countries. Note, Armenian community in Syria constitutes over 60,000.
