Stolen Canvas by Dali Returned by Post

«Cartel de Don Juan Tenorio» canvas by Salvador Dali, estimated in the amount of 150 thousand USD, which was stolen last week from the Manhattan Museum, was returned by post yesterday.

The package was sent to the USA from Europe, with a non existing name and return address on it. It was received by police officers at the airport. It is reported that the canvas painted in 1949 was in the same state as before being stolen.

According to US law enforcement the interest of mass media towards the canvas made it tough to sell it in the black market.
