After RA citizen, military doctor major Vahe Avetyan’s funeral, who had died after being severely beaten in Harsnaqar restaurant complex, a big crowd reached the Prosecutor’s Office in a protest march.
The march launched at Dro 83 and was continued until Komitas market. After having a short stop at President’s residence on Baghramyan st. reached the Prosecutor’s Office through Liberty Square, North avenue and the Republic Square.
The participants of the march were statesmen, as well as intellectuals, activists and caring people who suffered a great pain from the incident. The participants were shouting demanding fair litigation and exhorting everyone to be consistent for at any moment each of them can be in Vahe’s place. It’s senseless to speak about safety in this conditions of permissiveness and aggression. After completing the march at the Prosecutor’s Office the group of activists fixed the date of next meeting - July, 4 near the NA.
