Juvenile Unemployment Leads to Lawbreaking

Every single incident that occurs concerning juveniles and by juveniles, let it be a lawbreaking or any other crime, is immediately taken under control by police chiefs:today in a meeting with reporters informed RA Police Criminal Investigations Head Department’s 3rd division’s deputy chief, the head of Juvenile department Police Colonel Nelly Duryan.
Greater attention is paid to especially summer months, as a problem arises in connection with the business of juveniles. This is why, back in May, the first deputy chief of police assigned respective instructions to the police departments, for them to focus on and prevent the possible inflections of the behavior of juveniles in public places.
In June about 17 bulletins of injuries caused by juveniles are given, 16 of which occurred in public places, 6 cold shears are found at them. To solve this problem Nelly Duryan calls for parents to be as attentive as possible and follow the behavior of their children, be careful of what they take out of the house.
Nelly Durian once again reiterated the importance of cleaning the television and even stated that the lawbrekings are often replicas of soup-operas and movies.
Resolving the issue of registered youth employment in Gyumri the police cooperated with the Department of Education, and 19 juveniles were directed to Hanqavan camp, cooperating with World Vision 37 juveniles were directed to Aghveran camp, with "New Generation" NGO 8 registered juveniles were directed to Hanqavan.
In many cases, children commit antisocial actions because of domestic problems when parent-child relationship is not on the appropriate level. To change behavior of the children the Police works with parents, and if necessary , the parents having a negative influence are also registered and in rehabilitation community centers psychologists and pedagogues work with them.
