On July 4 Minister of Diaspora of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammed Reisi in Armenia.
Greeting the Ambassador Minister H.Hakobyan pointed out the warm attitude of the authorities of Iran towards the Armenian community and put significance on participation of Iranian Armenians in the programs of Ministry of Diaspora.
The Ambassador pointed out that Iranian Armenians are full citizens of Islamic Republic of Iran and have their important role in cultural, educational, scientific and economic life of Iran.
During the meeting realization of the “Iranian Armenian days” program in Iran and in Armenia, publication of a book and making a film about Iranian Armenian community were being discussed, stating that they will also contribute to strengthening of Armenia-Iran friendship.
