The Most Expensive Rolls Royce Sold at British Auction

During the annual festival of British West Sussex county Royce Silver Ghost produced in 1912 was sold. As The Daily Mail writes, the car was sold with a record 4.7 million pounds (7.3 million dollars). A century ago its owner bought it with 100 pounds. The name of the new owner is not mentioned.
Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost can reach a top speed of 95 km p/h, and the fuel consumption is 40 liters for 100 kilometers. Silk, silver and ivory were used in the interior of the car. According to the information of the magazine the car is hand-built.
