NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan on the Occasion of RA Constitution Day

Dear Armenians, I congratulate you whole-heartedly on the RA Constitution Day. The fundamental law of our country, adopted 17 years ago, became a basic document that unconditionally fixes democratic values, human rights and freedom, completely regulates the country-establishing process and is a reliable and stable base for progress.
By approving the Constitution, our nation clarified the guidelines of the country’s future, gave a legal statement to its aspirations, confirmed much earlier by the Declaration of Independence and the Independence Referendum.
I’m sure that we’ll continue together to build consistently our country- based on democracy, social justice and political solidarity, together we’ll be able to achieve our goals because everyone’s desire is to build a powerful, prosperous and competitive Armenia, developing the already-earned. Necessary bases and opportunities for that are provided by the Constitution, necessary steps are made by country’s authorities; interests of the nation and the country demand so.
Dear Armenians, once again congratulating on the Constitution Day, I wish you happiness, optimism and prosperity. And to our country I wish peace, development and progress .
