Happy International Kissing Day

About 20 years ago July 6 was adopted International Kissing Day by UNO. In all the cities over the world different kissing contests are organized, the participants of which try to set a new “kissing record”. Often prizes are given for the longest, the nicest and extraordinary kiss.
In 1990 during one of those contests American A.Wolfram from Minnesota kissed about 8000 people in 8 hours; he managed to kiss a new person every 3.6 seconds.
The most kisses are observed in the film “Don Juan” shoot in 1926 – about 191 kisses.
According to psychologists people who kiss frequently are calmer and more balanced.
During kissing human heart beats for about 150 times instead of 70. At that part 30 body muscles are working. During kissing the couple transfers 278 bacteria to each other, 95% of which are bad for the health. During kissing lips soften, become pink that is why lips of this color are considered attractive.
International Kissing Day was first celebrated in Great Britain. People whether they know each other or no kiss one another, hug and share their emotions. Many think that people continue, as it doesn’t cease to be the simplest and the most pleasant expression of feelings.
