Protest of Armenians against Ruben Hayrapetyan in Los-Angeles

On July 5 at noon there was a protest in front of the building of Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Los-Angeles to condemn military doctor major Vahe Avetyan’s death, who died, after being severely beaten at Harsnaqar restaurant complex.
Participants of the protest expressed their discontent towards former MP Ruben Hayrapetyan, a few oligarkhs, Consul General in Los-Angeles Grigor Hovhannisyan, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and others. The organizers presented an open letter of the Armenians living in LA, condemning Ruben Hayrapetyan. It will be sent to the President of RA, to the President of Human Rights Defender and to appropriate International bodies.
