Award for Published Articles on Armenian Genocide in International Scientific Periodicals

Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide “Tashir” foundation and “We demand increased funding for science” (DIFS) Facebook initiative towards the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide announces awards for published scientific articles in English, French or German, by RA and foreign citizens in international scientific periodicals which review the Armenian Genocide, having an index or an impact factor.
Encouraged are those scientific works which are recorded (indexed) in Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Thomson Reuters, Springer, Scopus, JSTOR, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences, Philosophy Documentataion Center eCollection, ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities), WestLaw, Linguistic Bibliography and in the list of other similar international databases.
The impact factor of the databases having an impact factor should be recorded by Scopus and Web of Knowledge – Thomson Reuters databases.
RA citizens as well as Diaspora and foreign scientists are eligible to participate in the competition.
The applications are admitted until March 31, 2015 (included). The applications can be submitted immediately after the publishing of the article, in a row, until the mentioned deadline.
The results of the competition will be announced on April 20 of each year.
For each year’s competition only the articles published from the April of the previous year to the March 31 of that year will be reviewed. The awarded articles won’t be reviewed in the next competitions.
The results of the competition will be announced by “Tashir” foundation, DIFS, and by the committee formed of the representatives of world Armenologist centers.
In order to participate in the competition it’s necessary to join the page until March 31, 2015 (included), posting the following information about the article being submitted to the competition and the author, as a comment under the competition announcement. In case of the absence of any of the mentioned points the submitted application won’t be reviewed. Therefore, please dispose all the required information in the following sequence:
