Merkel and Holland Visit Reims as a Sign of 50-Year Friendship of two Countries

The President of France Francois Holland and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet in Reims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of reconciliation sealed between the two countries in Reims – BBC reported.
Exactly 50 years ago in Reims City meeting of General Charles de Gaulle and Chancellor Konrad Adenauer took place as a sign of reconciliation of the two countries after World War II.
Earlier the Police of France informed that in a military cemetery which is 40 kilometers away from Reims desecrated 40 graves of German soldiers from World War II.
