Deschamps is the Chief Coach of the French Team

FFF officially confirmed that Didier Deschamps will take over the chair of the team’s coach. For days the press was discussing the information that Deschamps abandoned “Marseille” in order to run the French team. And yesterday FFF officially introduced team’s newly appointed coach,” team’s official website informs.
In order to cancel the contract with “Marseille” FFF and Deschamps were forced to pay 3.5 mln Euro.
The details of the contract are not being announced; It’s only expected that the contract has been signed for minimum of 2 years- until the World Cup of 2014. If the French team plays well in the championship of 2012, then Deschamps will be allowed to lead the team as well in the European championship of 2016, which will take place in France.
The 43-years old specialist started his career from 2001 in “Monaco” club, and started to run “Marseille” from 2009. Deschamps with the French team has become a champion in the World Cup of 1998 and in the European League, in fact, in both championships he has been the captain of the team.
