Today is World Population Day

According to UNO data on July 11, 1987, world population hit 5 billion. That day was conditionally called the 5 billion day.
Later, in 1989 UNO made this “World Population Day.”
Number of the world population in 1830 was 1 billion, in 1930 – 2 billion, in 1960 – 3 billion, in 1975 – 4.5 billion, in 1987 – 5 billion, in 1999 – 6 billion, in 2007 – 6.7 billion, and in 2011 it hit 7 billion. Currently the number of the population is not only increasing sharply, but also every year extra-increase is noticed. If in the beginning of XX century the number of population was growing 10-15 million each year, in 1980s - 85-90 million.
It’s supposed that in the whole period of human existence about 81 billion people were born, 74 billion people died and 7 billion are living now.
According to UNO data until the year 2050 the number of world population will reach to 9.3 billion, and at the end of era it’ll exceed 10 billion.
