The best for breakfast are eggs. It prevents the feeling of hunger until lunchtime. Such conclusion was made by scientists of the University of Louisiana
As “The Daily Mail” informs, 20 volunteers were offered to eat 2 eggs or a plateful of cereal in the mornings for 1 week. On the whole, the amount of calories, proteins, carbohydrates and fats was the same. At lunchtime the volunteers answered how much hunger they feel. Afterwards they were allowed to eat as much as they want and were asked to give blood. As a result it was revealed that those who had eggs for breakfast eat less at lunch; the hunger hormone is lower in their blood and the saturation hormone is higher.
