If Serzh Sargsyan Thinks about This Just for a Moment

A Facebook user Arakel Semirjyan wrote on his page:
“According to the official data, Armenia now has a population of 3 mln, and Azerbaijan has 9 mln. According to the official data every year 50000 people emigrate from Armenia, and 25000 from Azerbaijan. According to the official data every year 40000 children are born in Armenia, and 200000 in Azerbaijan. According to the official data, the number of victims of Armenian-Azeri skirmish is equal.
Now let us calculate what will happen after 10 years if this statistics remains the same. I’m amazed; Instead of making these simple calculations our analysts make such chimeric analysis that even science fiction scripts writers are not able to.
If the status quo is maintained for 10 years and the situation isn’t changed in Armenia, then according to the most optimistic calculations Armenia with all its rates stays back from Azerbaijan for 5 times. If 20 years ago Armenia, having a population of 4 mln, fought against Azerbaijan which had a population of 7 mln, then 10 years later Armenia, having a population of 2.5 mln will fight against Azerbaijan which will have a population of 11 mln . If 20 years ago the war generally involved automats and much less artillery, aircraft and heavy equipment, then 10 years later the war will have a technically filled image, and no matter whether that equipment will be bought with oil money or with the profit from Eurovision tourism, it’ll be shot according to its due.
It’s necessary to think about this, but not about keeping the authority. If Serzh Sargsyan thinks about this just for a moment, probably he’ll make all Armenian able forces cooperate with each other and change the situation in Armenia, even on account of his resignation, otherwise it’s hard to describe the image of 10 years from now. If he does not think about this, we must make him think…”
