In Madrid hundreds of people gathered in front of the headquarters offices of the ruling Democratic party and Spanish Socialists. The Office for State sector employees blocked the streets expressing their disagreement with the new package of anti-crisis measures: The demonstrators were chanting "cuts for banks, not for workers."
Note, that the demonstrations were organized with the help of social networks, Twitter and Facebook. The reason of the protest were the new measures for saving the state budget, accepted by the Spanish government; particularly the cutting of civic officers’ salaries, etc. In this way the authorities are planning to save about 80 billion euros.
