RA President Watched the Competition in Tsaghkadsor

Today President Serzh Sargsyan at the stadium of Main Olympic Sports Complex of Tsaghkadsor watched the final games of the annual republic competition “Best sportive family 2012” being held for the prize of RA President.
In the competition participated those best sportive families of Armenia and RNK who have successfully overcome the previous stages. The "Best sportive family" competition, which is being held the 9th year in a row, this year, too, was held in three age groups, in six sports.
The president congratulated the winners of the “Best sportive family” competition, happily stating that every year the competition is becoming more massive and already today thousands of families take part in the “Best sportive family” competition. According to the President of the Republic, the competitions had this aim from its very outset- to extend the number of the participants.
According to Serzh Sargsyan, for the families participating in the competition, besides contributing to the protection of health, the competition as well contributes to the solidarity of the families. “I don’t imagine a disunited family which will participate in this competition, moreover will win. The solidarity of family helps us to overcome the hardships of our lives, helps to complain less, and on the whole, to be an optimist. And the solidary family is the part of a solidary society,” Said President Serzh Sargsyan, highlighting that, irrelative of the fact the victory is big or small, it’s precious, especially when it is achieved in a fair competition.
The President of the Republic handed the winners certificates, grants and souvenirs.
The children from 108 families that took part in the “Best sportive family” competition were rewarded with sportswear and souvenirs from the President.
