On July 4 Freedom Center for Information announced the "Black List", which includes the officials who have violated the right to information.
In addition to the list of individual officials, political parties too are on the list. For violating the right to information, the organization sued 3 political forces- the Democratic Party, PAP and ANC.
In the interview with Lurer.com, PAP press speaker Tigran Urikhanyan mentioned that it doesn’t personally concern him, because he answers to the questions concerning him. Urikhanyan said that it is about FCI’s survey in the pre-election period, with which they have been interested in PAP costs and financial funds.They received an oral answer from the head of the party’s central office staff, which didn’t satisfy them.
"They could obtain information from the data posted in the CEC website which is being updated within 10 days. Our costs and fund have been properly and in accordance with law controlled by the state authorized body. Never, in any way, in any case we did not hide, do not hide are not going to hide any information, including finances, concerning our activities. If they weren’t satisfied, they could have address to me later, because I assume the party's press speaker after the elections. In general, PAP is open, transparent and is willing to provide any information to NGOs, which implement some grant programs," said Urikhanyan.
PAP press speaker also mentioned that if there’ll be a lawsuit, if the case will be proceeded, they’ll initiate appropriate actions too.
“However, I inform everybody, that we are open, transparent, do not conceal any information and are not going to conceal,” he concluded.
