Today the Office of Human Rights Defender wrote on its Facebook page: social services regional agency of Gavar didn’t give Lusine Baghoyan the allowance for her 1 year-old child. The local agency in one case reasoned it by lack of documentation, in other case wasn’t approved by social service agency and recently Lusine Baghoyan was told that there are no means to provide the allowance.
In order to give solution, Lusine Baghoyan applied to the ombudsman’s regional office in Gegharkunik, waiting for the interference of the Human Rights Defender to restore her rights.
In response to Defender scrap, it was informed from Gavar’s social service regional agency, that the allowance for the child has already been appointed.
