ANC Activists were Sentenced to 2-6 Years of Imprisonment

Right now the verdict for ANC activists was announced, according to which Tigran Arakelyan was sentenced to six years, Artak Karapetyan- three years, Sargis Gevorgyan and David Kiramijyan, for two years of imprisonment.
Till the end the activists didn’t recognize their guilt and directed their word of shame to the court for the verdict. Concerning this Nikol Pashinyan said that he’ll fight to the end.
Note also, that a clash occurred between 7 ANC young activists and the police , around the “Swan Lake”on August 9, 2011, as a result of which they were detained and arrested on the next day. The 6 of them were set free with a signature for not departing, and Tigran Arakelyan continues to remain in detention because is accused of applying a violence against a representative of authority.
