The representative of Armenia Maria Gevorgyan, won the continental championship of rapid chess tournament, in M18 group, held in Bania Vruchitsa city of Bosnia / Herzegovina. Gevorgyan scored 5.5 from 6 possible points and got ahead of her nearest concurrent with 1.5 points.
Maria also became the absolute champion in girls’ rapid chess, beating all the winners of all age groups, in the final competition.
In addition, Gevorgyan became the vice-champion in blitz chess tournament of Europe in M18 group.
