Roman Pope Blessed the Olympics

Pope of Rome Benedict XVI blessed the Olympics in a letter to archbishop of Vancouver Michael Miller. Head of Catholic Church said he hopes that sport will join nations and peoples, will help promote peace and reconciliation in the world.
On his traditional Sunday preaching Pope of Rome expressed hope that UNO peace appeal will be heard in all countries and at this great sport event nothing will happen.
To note, recently Vatican established a new sport center, which pursues the goal to campaign in serious preaching of Christian values.
