Where do the Responsibles of Masis City Look at?

The dump not far from Masis city caused the dissatisfaction and anxiety of the citizens. Tons of domestic waste are regularly moved from Yerevan to Masis and are realized through burning, as a result of which hazardous and toxic substances are emitted into the air pool of the city, causing the aggravation of chronic diseases of Masis citizens and even the acquisition of new diseases.
It is assumed that the transportation of the waste from Yerevan to Masis and its burning pursues the aim of realizing the waste with low-cost, completely ignoring how costly is that for the health of Masis citizens and the city nature.
In order to interfere with the anti-sanitary and anti-hygienic situation the residents repeatedly requested the mayor and the NA MP of the district, but so far they haven’t witnessed any interference, though it is their direct responsibility.
Recently a letter has been sent to the NA Heritage faction, with a demand for raising the issue in NA and keeping it in focus. The letter was signed by 250 residents of the city of Masis.
