“Hard Living”’s Living Gets Harder

Yesterday the "Society without Violence" NGO organized and event to prevent violence against women.
According to the studies of "Society without Violence" NGO, the “Hard living”’s 550 minutes, out of 730, included scenes of women. The scenes, which included violence against women, crying and depression, are 328 minutes, out of 550 (60%). The physical violence against women- 6.2 % (34 minutes), psychological abuse - 22% (120 minutes), sexual abuse- 0.7% (4 min), and the women crying and depression- 31% (170 minutes). The studied 10 main heroines, out of 10, are subjected to violence and do not work, except for one heroine, who worked for a short time as a maid and a hotel cleaner. No one has the right to make her own decision.
During the event signature collecting was carried out and within one and a half hours more than 200 signatures were collected.
"Society without Violence" NGO will also start an online signature collecting from Monday. The collected signatures along with the official letter will be sent to "Armenia" TV.
